D3 TRAITOR

Helotix has always resisted the Federation, but now they have succumb to it's expansion. Alarmed by this, the Scorpio crew visits the planet. Tarrant and Dayna teleport down. There they meet with the leader of the rebel movement, Star Major Hunda, who tells them that the Federation is using pylene-50, a new drug to pacify anyone exposed to it.
A new puppet President arrives, but within hours he is killed under mysterious circumstances. For some reason, the killer has also destroyed a portrait of the former President, Servalan. Meanwhile, Avon tells Orac to evaluate Scorpio's propulsion system and possibly redesign it for better efficiency. Orac feels this is beneath it and passes on the work to the closest suitable computers.
Hiding from the Federation troopers, Tarrant , Dayna and Hunda debate the best way into the city. They also meet with a Federation Liaison Officer, Leitz, who has been aiding the rebels. Actually, Leitz is a spy for Security Officer, Commissioner Sleer. Tarrant and Dayna enter the city where they find the creator of the pylene-50 drug. They secure the antidote and learn that Leitz is a double agent. They pass this info and the antidote to Hunda, who is leading a raid on the communications complex. Waiting for a pickup, Tarrant and Dayna are stunned to see Servalan alive and on Helotrix.
Scorpio comes under attack because Orac, not wanting to waste time with the redesign has passes the problem to the computers on Helotix. This interference is picked up by the Federation and pursuit ships are launched. Avon flies the Scorpio down to cloud level and picks up Tarrant and Dayna. They tell Avon that Servalan is still alive. On Helotrix, Servalan has killed the creator of pylene-50 because he knows that Sleer is actually Servalan. Because he also knows this Leitz is killed too.

D4 STARDRIVE

Trying to obtain the precious mineral selsium, Avon orders a suicidal maneuver. The Scorpio tries to hide from the Federation by flying in the shadow of a hugh asteroid. This action fails , they crash and the ship is rendered immobile. While under repairs the ship is attacked by three pursuit ships. The ships suddenly explore. Slow motion replay of the explosion, shows that the ships were shot down by a single seater space chopper moving at incredible speeds. Orac surmises that a Dr. Plaxton has finished the work on the photonic drive and the crew eagerly searches for Plaxton.
Orac also revels that the chopper was piloted by a Space Rat (these are psychopaths who love speed and violence)  Despite Vila's protests, Scorpio travels to Caspar where the Space Rats are based. Dayna and Vila teleport down while the Scorpio lands and the rest of the crew plan to steal the new drive. Atlan, the leader of the Rats has supplied Dr PLaxton with all the necessary materials to build the drive, but Plaxton is wary of the Rats psychopathic tendencies.
Vila and Dayna are captured, but they pretend to be former students of Dr Plaxton. They buy time by saying that drive Plaxton has produced is not as advanced as the one they had been working on previously. They are soon rescued by the others and with Dr Plaxton, the crew manages to get to Scorpio and escape. Once in space Scorpio is chased by Federation ships and Dr Plaxton starts to install the drive in order to out run the ships. As time runs out, Avon brings the drive online without giving Dr Plaxton a chance to get clear and she dies from the backlash. Scorpio succeeds in outrunning  the plasma bolts and escapes.
